The stunning views of the changing tides, lights, and moods of the River Towy, which can be seen from the Mansion House, create a truly mesmerizing setting. The breakfast options are mouthwatering, from the full Welsh to pancakes with maple syrup and bacon, and eggs Benedict made to order by the experienced chef Paul Owen. The restaurant named after the River Towy provides a beautiful ambiance with its tall windows overlooking the river, making it the perfect place to dine. The super-king suite, Ffynnon, with its roll-top bath and floor-to-ceiling windows offering a breathtaking view, is truly a luxurious haven. The gardens of Mansion House are like a wonderland, featuring exotic plants, Mediterranean landscapes, and rock terraces, providing a serene and enchanting environment.

The location of this hotel is absolutely stunning with beautiful views overlooking the estuary. The staff are incredibly welcoming and provide excellent service. The room we stayed in was tastefully decorated and offered a comfortable stay. The food, both the evening meal and breakfast, was delicious and served with great attention to detail.
That some dishes, such as the salmon, had too much oil on the plate which affected the overall taste. the chocolate crème brûlée was more like a mousse, which was a bit disappointing.

Situated in a picturesque location with breathtaking views of the estuary and beautiful grounds, this hotel offers a truly special experience. The rooms are spacious, indulgent, and beautifully furnished, with comfortable beds and high ceilings. The staff are friendly, helpful, and add to the enjoyable experience. The food served in the restaurant is outstanding, prepared with love and using high-quality produce. Additionally, the wine list is interesting and varied.
The dining room used for Sunday lunch lacked atmosphere and was not as aesthetically pleasing as other parts of the hotel.

The decor of the hotel felt a bit basic and austere, lacking a sense of luxury.

The location was simply stunning, overlooking the river mouth and bay, offering a secluded and peaceful atmosphere. The stay at the guest house was worth every penny. The room was cozy and comfortable, with thoughtful touches like homemade cookies and plenty of towels in the bathroom. The location overlooking the estuary was absolutely beautiful, providing a peaceful and idyllic setting. The staff at the guest house were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable.
The only improvement that could be made to the breakfast experience is the serviettes, as they were slightly out of character compared to the rooms and decor.
